Hazelnut tree Gustav's Zeller
This hazelnut tree is suitable for both private gardens and hazelnut plantations. Its fertility is exceptionally good. With a suitable pollinator, more production can be achieved. Due to our special method of propagation and choice of rootstock, these plants do not suffer from annoying and harmful formation of “storage” (uncontrolled proliferative branches growing from the base of the trunk). Because of this, the hazelnut tree can really be grown as a low-stemmed or even high-stemmed tree.
The note
The hazelnuts are good tasting and quite large compared to other varieties. With its high fruit bearing a widely used in hazelnut nurseries. The nuts also store well by storing them in a moist/wet place during the winter until they start germinating.
