About Almond Guara
Prunus dulcis Guara is a self-pollinating and richly fruiting almond tree that is widely planted for almond production due to its fullness of fruit. The Guara almond tree is also known for its early fruiting and shape of the almond kernel. This variety is just a little more resistant to the cold than most other varieties.
Quality of almond
The almonds can be cracked by hand, are quite large, almost heart-shaped in size and enormously flavourful. They can be eaten immediately but for best taste, it is better to let them dry for 2-3 weeks first.
