Young Walnut tree Juglans regia 'Fernor'
√ Large, sweet, flavourful nut
√ Late flowering
√ High yield
√ Self-pollinating
Juglans regia Fernor
This healthy walnut tree is extremely popular among walnut varieties. Its late flowering time makes it very suitable for walnut production in colder climates. It is widely planted in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. The tree is self-pollinating, but for better pollination we recommend planting Juglans regia Fraquette alongside it, which is also available in our webshop.
The nut
The well-filled and tasty nut is relatively large. The thin shell is easy to crack, making it one of the best general walnut varieties.
