About the Constanti
The Young Almond Tree Prunus d. Constanti is a self-pollinating tree selected for its early and rich fruiting. Compared to other varieties, the almond tree Constantii can withstand drought very well. Its late flowering makes it very suitable for areas with late night frosts. Besides being one of the best fruit bearers, its rich blooms of white flowers add an extra touch to your garden. The tree is also easy to prune, making it good for planting in a somewhat smaller garden. Its growth habit is slightly upright and somewhat more compact than most varieties. The light red edges of the growth make the Almond Tree Constantii a real addition to your garden.
Almond quality
The almonds can be cracked even by hand, are quite large in size and enormously flavourful. They can be eaten immediately but for the best flavour it is better to let them dry for a 2-3 weeks first. In addition, the fruits of this Almond Tree Constanti are great for making soft nougat.
