The Pistachio Tree Pistache v. Lanarka is the female tree that is planted for the production of pistachio nuts. Pistacia v. C-Especial is indispensable for pollination and fruit setting. A beautiful tree for the patio or garden with its fresh green leaves. This package contains varieties selected for specific characteristics such as early ripening of the pistachio nut and a high percentage that bursts open on the tree. After 4-5 years, they will produce their first pistachios. When planted together, these trees produce a more intense, green, culinarily prized nut. The nuts are rich in nutrients and highly nutritious, full of good fats and packed with vitamins (especially B6), minerals, antioxidants, and fiber. Pistachio trees are hardy (down to approx. -15°C), but we recommend protecting them during the winter or overwintering them indoors for the first few years.
