Walnut tree Juglans ail. cord. Grimo Manchurian originates from Grimo Farm (Canada). The Japanese walnut is native to China, Korea and parts of Asian Russia. This healthy self-pollinating tree can grow 15 to 20 metres tall. The tree initially grows straight up after which it forms a broad crown when older. An ideal park tree, this tree has a light grey, grooved trunk and striking, large and bright green leaves.
The note
The nuts are long and hang together in clusters. These nuts can be up to 4-5 cm long and are contained in a husk that is somewhat sticky and hairy.
