Walnut tree Juglans ail. cord. Kalmar is a selection found on the Swedish east coast. A Japanese walnut (Heartnut) also suitable for northern European regions. In Denmark, the tree has been shown to cope well with cold winters.
The note
It is a healthy, self-pollinating, fertile tree with medium-sized nuts that crack easily. It has a very mild and sweet flavor and even the kernel of the heart-shaped.
