The tree reaches a height of 5-7 metres.
Quality of the Cornelian cherry
The Cornelian cherry is a beautiful large pear-shaped dark red berry (approx. 8-10 g). The taste of the berry is aromatic, fresh and fruity, often compared to morello cherries and cranberries. The berries contain excellent antioxidants, minerals and vitamin C. The flesh is firm and juicy when ripe. The berries are most suitable for: juices, syrups, jams, jellies or even sauces to accompany meat.
